The roots of Acetylworld Solutions trace back to 2021, when Comr. Sholagbade Gbohunmi Ayomide, then an undergraduate biochemistry student at Osun State University (UNIOSUN), launched a student-led tutorial initiative. His goal was simple but powerful: to support academically struggling students and help them achieve success.
That same year, he created a WhatsApp group called “Book_Metabolism”—a virtual academic community where students could collaborate, share resources, and learn together. His goal was simple but powerful: to support academically struggling students and help them achieve success.
That same year, he created a WhatsApp group called “Book_Metabolism”—a virtual academic community where students could collaborate, share resources, and learn together. The group quickly grew into a valuable support network. Recognizing his commitment to academic development, Ayomide was appointed Faculty Assistant Academic Director in 2022.
Later in 2022, the initiative took on a new identity as AcetylcoA Solutions, officially becoming an organization. The name was inspired by Acetyl-CoA, a crucial biochemical compound in metabolism, symbolizing the organization’s role in fueling academic and professional growth. The Book_Metabolism group became the Academy Department, the first of many units under this new structure.
In 2023, AcetylcoA Solutions expanded its offerings with the creation of the Writing Department and the Motivational Quotes and Mentorship Department, reflecting its mission to develop both academic skills and personal growth.
The year 2024 marked a turning point. The organization reached financial sustainability, generating millions of naira in revenue, and launched the Library Hub—a rich repository of past questions, lecture notes, and study materials. A new website followed, featuring tools like a CGPA Calculator and a Normal Calculator, further empowering students.
In January 2025, the organization was officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as Acetylworld Solutions. This name change represented the evolution from a student initiative into a fully structured and legally recognized educational solutions company, with a broader vision and reach.
Now operating through eight departments, Acetylworld Solutions continues to serve students and graduates with a wide range of academic and professional services: Academy Department, Writing Department, Library Hub, AcetylFoundation (AFUS), Motivational Quotes and Academic Advice Department, Research Department, Financial Department, Media and Publicity Department
From its humble beginnings as a student-led tutorial class, Acetylworld Solutions has grown into a trusted platform for academic support, mentorship, and personal development. Guided by its founder’s vision, the company continues to empower students across Nigeria and beyond, helping them build the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to succeed.

Comrade Sholagbade Gbohunmi Ayomide, popularly known as Prof Hay-Why, is a name synonymous with academic excellence, leadership, and a passion for empowering students. His journey through Osun State University is marked by outstanding achievements and a deep commitment to both learning and community service.
Sholagbade Oluwagbohunmi embarked on his academic odyssey in 2019 when he gained admission to Osun State University. He pursued a degree in Biochemistry, a field known for its rigor and demands. Despite the challenges, Sholagbade excelled, graduating with a remarkable Second Class Upper degree with a CGPA of 4.44 out of 5.00, a testament to his dedication to his studies.
Throughout his time at the university, Sholagbade actively engaged in student associations, making his presence felt as a leader and contributor. In 2021, during his 200-level days on campus, he served as the P.R.O 1 in the Department of Biochemistry under the Nigeria Association of Biochemistry Students (NSBS), where he worked alongside Comr. Olabitan Martins. This role marked the beginning of his leadership journey, demonstrating his commitment to representing his department's interests.
In 2022, as he progressed to 300-level, Sholagbade was appointed as the Assistant Academic Director of the Faculty of Basic and Applied Science, a testament to his growing influence and leadership skills. Under the guidance of Comrade Adedeji Adam (Aka Damscon) who was the president of the faculty. Prof. Hay-Why contributed to the academic development of his faculty.
By 2023, now in his 400-level, Sholagbade had risen to the position of Academic Director of the Faculty of Basic and Applied Science, led by Comrade Albert Gideon. His ascent to this role reflects not only his academic prowess but also his ability to inspire and lead others. Simultaneously, he was chosen as the Electoral Chairman for the Department of Biochemistry, further showcasing his leadership and organizational abilities.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Sholagbade is the C.E.O of AcetylcoA Solutions, an organization recognized for winning the prestigious "Best Tutorial Organization of the Year" award. AcetylcoA Solutions is known for its commitment to providing academic solutions and support to students, solidifying Prof. Hay-Why reputation as an academic mentor and influencer.
Sholagbade's dedication to empowering students academically extends beyond his role as CEO. He founded Book Metabolism 1 & 2 Tutorial Rooms, which have created invaluable opportunities for students to enhance their knowledge and skills. These tutorial rooms operate as branches and sub-segments under AcetylcoA Solution, embodying Sholagbade's vision of comprehensive academic support.
His impact as an educator is further highlighted by his role as a tutor, having guided over 100 students in lecture rooms. In recognition of his teaching excellence, he was awarded the prestigious "Best Tutor of the Year" accolade in 2023, cementing his status as a remarkable educator.
Sholagbade Oluwagbohunmi Ayomide's journey through Osun State University was not solely defined by academic pursuits. He was a devoted member of CACCF (Christ Apostle Church Campus Fellow) and actively participated in the choir unit during his time on campus. His commitment to faith and community involvement underscores his well-rounded character.
In total, Sholagbade Oluwagbohunmi Ayomide received four awards during his tenure at Osun State University, consisting of Two Awards of Service and Two Awards of Excellence. These accolades are a testament to his unwavering dedication to both personal and community growth.
In 2024, he was mobilized for NYSC in Bauchi State, serving at Aminu Salleh College of Education, Azare. As a lecturer in the Chemistry Department, he teaches Organic Chemistry to NCE and undergraduate students. Furthermore, he actively serves in NCCF (Nigeria Christian Corpers Fellowship) and was appointed Zonal Coordinator, Azare, leading fellow believers in faith and service. His academic, leadership, and spiritual dedication continue to inspire excellence.
